New Features
- Over-the-air video delivery
- We now support pure over-the-air (OTA) delivery of videos. This means that if you use our OTA mode then you don't need to install anything on your desktop in order to run Interbine. We recommend OTA if your phone has Wi-Fi or if you enjoy a fixed-rate data plan. Otherwise, your phone bill will grow because your cellular carrier charges for the data transfer. If you are a new user, you can select between OTA & Bluetooth during the registration process. If you've already registered and installed our application on the phone and you wish to switch to OTA then open your account page and the settings of your phone application and select OTA.
- YouTube Feeds
- You can now put YouTube feeds on your mobile phone for free.
- Search Feeds
- We've added an easy access to Yahoo Video Search feeds. All you have to do is specify your keywords and we'll get the clips to your cellular phone.
- The Interbine Desktop
- We've released an Alpha version of The Interbine Desktop. It's a free Java application that works on Windows (soon on Linux and Mac) and makes it easy and cheap to download programs to your mobile phone. Checkout the release notes for details.
- Media Hot Folders
- If you specify an Interbine hot folder on your computer - whenever you drop a new media file to that folder it will be automatically transferred to the mobile phone on the next sync. You can read more about it here.
- Sharing with friends
- If your friends are also on Interbine you can now share content with them, learn how. If they're not on Interbine, you can easily recommend it to them.
- Media Mobilizer
- We've released the Media Mobilizer. This is a small utility that allows you to easily grab media from all over the web and put it on your cellular phone, even from sites that don't provide RSS media feeds. You can read more about it here.
